I must say that Michael J. Schmitz’s first post was awesome. I also wasn’t sure at first if it was parody or from a right wing nut-job, but after reading it a couple of times I guessed it had to be parody and it was incredibly well pointed. For some reason that seems to have gone over the heads of some here. My guess is that they are young and haven’t quite developed a keen eye for parody or satire. Given time their comedy gland will be more developed and they will be able to intelligently pick through all the higher levels of such parody. Because they did “get” the photo’s obvious comedic value it does point out that they were in fact born with this gland, although it is not yet well developed, and are not right wingers who were not blessed with a comedy gland at birth.

ahhh I wish I can go to every website which requires posting about something. If we were worried about spelling correctly or correct grammar, we would pay attention to the spell check that is on this site. This is the internet, not high school or college. Am I getting credit for this post or is this a requirement to pass in life? To change the world, one must take action. Words do not matter anymore. If you want to be critical about how people spell or word things in a way that bother you, why don’t you go door to door and state, “Hi, I’m here to fix the world’s illiteracy. May I come in and teach you the correct way to live?” action…action..action. You just piss people off otherwise. No one is going to listen to you if you are no one. I win. Ha ha ha, ha ha ha ha.

First of all… PATRIOT ACT… They took our freedom away and called it national security. Have any of you actually read this?

Second, we have a new president. While many people seem to think: God is coming back because we now have the anti christ as a president; we are going to blown away by terrorists; that our country is going to shit; etc. We are already going to shit. The last administration has sunk us in a deep whole and it will take more than a new president to get us out of it. While the next four years will determine many things for us, we still have a checks and balance system called congress. If you don’t like what you are seeing you need to start writing and calling your representatives TODAY and tell them what you expect of them. You elected them and if you want to see change you need to be proactive in making this happen. This is how our country will change. Not just because we have a new president.

Finally, Obama won. It’s over. Stop bitching about it and become a part of the change. The United States elects their Representatives and they are to work for the people. So stop acting like you don’t have control and start making things happen! Become your own grass roots organization and make change happen locally and move it out into a broader spectrum.

Lets we forget.. did you hear the other day a guy got on a plane with a fake boarding pass, wearing a Bin Laden tshirt and a fake i.d.? So much for national security! Did you also know that if you are a resident of the U.S. and you leave the country for over 6 months you loose your residency? So tell me, how does a resident go to Cuba (we are not allowed to go to Cuba) stay 9 months, buy a ticket to Panama and come back into the U.S. get greeted by a customs agent at the airport who says “welcome to the U.S.” So much for national security! I have no idea who you are, or what your deal is, but this guy kept his mouth shut in a Vietnamese prison for the better part of 6 years to safeguard secrets that he carried for the security of the United States.
