Smart or just good?
Billmon suggests Kerry might have known the mike was on. If he did, he's smart to know that would play well with the base (hmm, did that come after his meeting with Dean?). If he didn't, then it just gives him more street cred as someone truly fed up with Bush.
Either way, I'm very pleased with Kerry.

I was thrilled when I heard what Kerry said (I read about on one of the blogs); but very disappointed when it turned out to be a "private comment 'accidentaly' made public."
I would have preferred that he said it in the body of a speech. Instead, it was the equivalent of the "loser cough."
However, Kerry has redeemed himself in my eyes by refusing to apologize for it.
Kick 'em where it hurts!
